Pests

Wasps & Bees – These are usually smoked out with a powder in areas such as in the soffix of houses where the nests are unlikely to be seen, if a nest can be seen and is in a hedge/shed or sometimes maybe accessible in the loft space we can use a wasp nest destroyer that kills the nest dead within 5- 10m mins, this can be somtimes removed if its not too large or we can come back and remove this for a small fee.(wasps never go back to the same nest so a redunndant nest is not a problem, they can be removed in the winter when it is more likelly to be safer.)

Honey Bees cannot be treated if in a large swarm in a bush a beekeeper would have to be contacted for this.
If they or masonry/bumble bees are in a wall or roof cavity they can be treated in the case of the honey bees either the pest controller or customer must block the hole up so not to kill any other nests in the surrounding areas.

Mice/rats – We usually use poison to eradicate these as you can see what they eat and are more likelly to get more kills than with traps etc, we can use traps, sticky boards or humane traps if required but these only kill a smaller amount at a time and need to be checked more frequently.
We use key operated mouse boxes for kitchens and children and tamper proof.

Squirrels – We have to use a cage to eradicate these so sometimes can be costly depending on how many visits we have top make.

Fleas/Bed Bugs etc – These are usually eradicated by the use of insecticide either sprayed to the carpet area or bed and mattress, sometimes 3-4 visits may be required to eradicate all of these.

Ants – We tend usually to use insect monitors to check the activity of the ants and also put baits down and powder to eradicate these.
